Sr. Web Product Manager

We are looking for a Sr. Web Product Manager to join our growing Web Marketing team at Databricks. You will report directly to the Director, Web Product. This role sits within the broader Marketing Technology business unit and primarily supports our corporate website: www.databricks.com.

Who you are

You have a strong background in website marketing and can manage complex projects from strategy through execution. You can act as the voice of the customer with stakeholders to recommend and ship new website features and functionality. You are able to pull together cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that take into consideration user experience, global and local requirements, SEO, automation, and more. You leverage both qualitative and quantitative data as inputs into the projects you oversee and are comfortable working with researchers to develop test plans and user studies. You are comfortable presenting to an executive audience with the ability to influence change. You like to stay current on latest trends and technologies and enjoy continually learning and challenging the status quo.

The impact you will have:

  • Elevate the website experience by using data-driven insights, testing, competitive analysis/benchmarking, and qualitative feedback to deliver new features and functionality
  • Oversee the web product roadmap using product development techniques including: minimum viable product, validated learning, and story points. Ensure alignment with senior leadership.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams (e.g. Brand, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Growth) to build strategic plans and align goals throughout implementation and delivery of programs and initiatives
  • Partner with technology teams to drive a best-in-class web platform; transferring business requirements into technical specifications and user stories 
  • Lead cross-functional work across Marketing Technology teams to deliver and build core capabilities for the business (e.g. omni-channel personalization)
  • Help establish, refine, and document core processes and methodologies for the team 

What we look for:

  • 7+ years experience working on corporate websites for SaaS companies
  • Experience overseeing a product roadmap and managing complex product development cycles and technical solutions in a highly matrixed environment
  • Data obsessed with a strong web analytics background and in-depth experience running testing & optimization programs and performing qualitative and qualitative analysis
  • Experience leading and influencing stakeholders to deliver on goals and OKRs including defining strategy and setting vision
  • Ability to present to an exec audience and synthesize information to a business audience
  • Adept at managing and scaling multiple initiatives, resources, and processes
  • Experience in a consumption based business model and/or growth background is highly desired

 

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
