Mandarin Language Interpreter

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (HSK4 and/or above/Graduation/Post Graduation).
  • In-depth knowledge of cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions in both languages.
  • Strong listening, retention, and note-taking skills for accuracy in interpretation.
  • Ability to maintain neutrality and objectivity during conversations.
  • Capacity to clarify cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication when needed.

  • Provide accurate interpretations between Mandarin and English, ensuring the essence, context, tone, and style are preserved across languages, adhering to proper grammar and syntax.
  • Maintain fidelity to the original message by conveying all details during conversations and handling challenging calls with professionalism.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities, including clear pronunciation, pleasant tone, and professional demeanor.
  • Follow client guidelines meticulously, manage call flow effectively, and refrain from direct interaction with limited English speakers without consent.
  • Stay composed and professional during calls, particularly in high-pressure or emergency scenarios.
  • Be punctual and available according to the established work schedule.
  • Ensure reliable internet access for all work-related communications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned at management's request.
  • Applicants should be open to Rotational Shifts (including nights).

Working days : 5 days (2 rotational week off)

Job Type: Full-time (Work From Home)

Salary up to : 7.87 LPA

Other allowance : Overtime pay, Mediclaim (Covers the Employee, Parents, Spouse & 2 kids from the first day of employment) & other Incentives based on performance.
