Expert System Admin - GCP

The Expert System Admin at our company is responsible for managing both Linux and Windows environments in GCP. Key duties include maintaining and optimizing system performance, ensuring security compliance, developing automation scripts, and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies, all while collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams.

To qualify for the Expert System Admin role at our company, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with over 8 years of experience in system administration focusing on Linux and Windows environments. Additionally, 3+ years of managing GCP infrastructure and certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Engineer are highly desirable.

An Expert System Admin at our company should be proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible will also be valuable for automation tasks.
