Thermal Engineering Intern (June - August)

The Thermal Engineering Intern will assist in the design, analysis, testing, and optimization of high-temperature thermal storage and heat transfer components for Exowatt’s thermal energy storage systems.



Responsibilities:
  • Support thermal modeling and simulations for heat exchangers and storage systems.
  • Assist in testing and data collection on thermal performance.
  • Evaluate and improve material selection for high-temperature applications.
  • Work with engineers to develop scalable solutions for thermal energy storage.


Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a degree (BS, MS, or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
  • Experience with thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with thermal testing and data analysis is a plus.
