Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Deployment Engineer to support and maintain shipboard applications, ensuring seamless software and hardware installations. This role involves troubleshooting, monitoring, and resolving technical issues while collaborating with IT product teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve change requests for shipboard applications.

  • Respond to customer issues via phone, email, and chat, documenting interactions and resolutions accurately.

  • Deploy content updates for property management systems.

  • Proactively monitor and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth hardware and software installations.

  • Perform network and database troubleshooting, and write deployment scripts as needed.

  • Maintain product documentation and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in application support.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Hands-on experience with computer hardware, peripherals, and standard software programs.

  • Strong understanding of network troubleshooting and relational databases (SQL experience required).

  • Experience with issue tracking systems such as Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, or Confluence.

  • Previous experience in the cruise or hospitality industry.

  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally every two to four weeks to different locations in LATAM and Europe.
