NY Family Law Attorney (Contract)

About Us

First is creating the modern legal ally for consumers. As a team, we exist to create digital products that help people craft sound, efficient, and cost-effective agreements for every stage of their lives. Our first product is a digital, lawyer-reviewed prenup. 

We’re a venture-backed, Expa studio startup. Our team consists of former Google and Meta executives and top-tier legal experts from Yale, NYU, and UCLA Law. 

We’re looking for experienced family law attorneys to join our team on a contract basis for 10-20 hours per week. You will serve as counsel for our customers by reviewing prenuptial agreements generated on our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review prenups on our digital platform

  • Flag important clauses, and provide comments to your client 

  • Review and respond to comments from opposing counsel  

  • Ensure client understands terms of prenuptial agreement and answer any questions they may have 

Requirements:

  • You believe that high-quality legal agreements should be more accessible for more people!

  • 5+ years experience as a family law attorney

  • Deep understanding of, and experience with, prenuptial agreements

  • Strong communication skills - responsive, with clear, concise communication

  • Customer-centric mindset

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice in the state of New York

Bonus Skills:

  • Ability to represent clients in multiple languages

Compensation

  • $200 hourly
