Job Description

The Technical Project Coordinator will operate as a support and liaison between internal Information Technology (IT) teams. This role will actively participate in technical tasks, ensure proper documentation/process adherence, and facilitate IT projects individually or in collaboration with team members. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.

Major Responsibilities:

Support in planning, executing, and closing of technical projects across multiple internal IT teams, tracking project milestones and deliverables.
Perform technical tasks independently or with the assistance of the IT team, to support IT initiatives and resolve issues.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of project and technical documentation, including: project plans, schedules, and status reports.
Act as a point of contact between project teams and stakeholders, facilitating meetings, documenting minutes, and following up on action items.
Help manage project tasks and resources, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and all issues are addressed promptly.
Support the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards.
Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and team members.
Assist in implementing solutions and ensuring compliance with established technical workflows.
Learn and become proficient in company-specific software to effectively support technical initiatives and provide informed recommendations.
Identify gaps or inefficiencies in processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
May be required to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.

Qualifications

Typically requires completion of post secondary education with an emphasis in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, plus a minimum of 2 years experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably within a technical or IT environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Good understanding of IT systems, networks, and technical workflows.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,
Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across various teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment.
Basic understanding of project management practices and tools.

Work & Sensory Environment:

This is a hybrid position that is part of a 24/7 on-call rotation work schedule.
May be required to sit for long periods of time at workstation.
May be required to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
Providing service to several people or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines.
Possible exposure to eye strain from computer terminals.
Must have access to a reliable vehicle to be able to travel to different sites, on occasion.
