Security Engineer

The Role:

As a Security Engineer, you’ll be responsible for defining, implementing, and managing security solutions that protect our applications, networks, and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses.

  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks, regulations, and standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

  • Automate security monitoring, logging, and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related roles.

  • High proficiency in cloud security, including networking and access controls

  • Hands-on experience with implementing security frameworks like SOC 2 and GDPR.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the minimum qualifications:

  • High proficiency in Go, Python, Terraform

  • 3+ years of cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP, OCI)  experience

  • 2+ years of Kubernetes experience
