Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required within 3 years of assuming role
Licensures/Certifications:
• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Registered Nurse.
• Current “Healthcare Provider” CPR certification.
Experience:
Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse
Skills:
• Proficiency in developing nursing plan of care, implementing effective nursing care, and evaluating outcome of nursing intervention.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective planning and organizational skills in order to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrates skill in patient experience and service recovery.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care
• Completes and documents initial and ongoing assessments.
• Utilizes physical assessment and interviewing techniques.
• Determines priorities for patient care needs or problems.
• Performs clinical nursing skills independently.
• Assists in the development of specific clinical care plans for individual patients and reevaluates care plan for effectiveness as needed.
• Implements treatments as ordered.
• Initiates appropriate emergency procedures as necessary.
• Demonstrates competency in hyperbaric medicine.
Education
• Applies teaching/learning principles in education of patient and family.
• Provides instruction to patient, care takers, or family members in applying appropriate treatments as necessary.
Communication and Collaboration
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary professional staff to improve the delivery of quality patient care.
• Coordinates patient activities with other disciplines.
• Communicates the patient's status and plan of care through written documentation in the patient's medical record.
• Verbally communicates the patient's status to physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals.

Pay Range
$30.48 - $46.85Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
