As a Stonerise LPN - Charge Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to acutely and/or chronically ill patients through individualized care plans. You will serve as a charge nurse to hire, plan, organize, direct, and supervise the activities of CNAs, Valets, CNAs in-training, etc. assigned to your shift. This is a Part Time position working the Night Shift. As a Stonerise LPN - Charge Nurse, some of your primary responsibilities include: Supervising the CNAs, CNAs in-training, and hospitality aides and determining work procedures; preparing work schedules, expediting workflow, evaluating, and counseling. Delivering nursing care to patients including administering routine services while making every effort to maintain patient safety, comfort, and peace of mind. Administering medications accurately and safely to assigned group of patients. Assuming and carrying out responsibility for leadership of the nursing care team. Communicating with other health care team members such as, physicians, nurses, other LPNs, CNAs, social workers, and psychologists regarding patient status and response to treatment. Transcribing physician orders correctly and completing necessary paperwork. Implementing patient education plans when appropriate.
