Included Health is looking for a Full Time Psychiatrist to join our team of remote Mental Health Clinicians, under the guidance of the Medical Director of Behavioral Health. Our Psychiatrists are passionate about caring for patients holistically through their healthcare journey and ensuring needs are met with industry-leading interventions.


You will use video-based visits to diagnose and treat a wide variety of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. You will provide Psychotropic medication management to assist patients with problems ranging from short-term interpersonal issues to severe, chronic conditions. By using medical and psychiatric data, psychiatrists will aid in the development of treatment plans, monitor the effects of medications, and collaborate with primary care physicians, psychologists, therapists and other healthcare professionals to help patients restore their optimal mental health.


This is a fully remote full time position starting at 30 hours per week.


Based on operational need in the states of TX, VA, NY, GA, WA, NC, TN, OH, PA, AZ, and MA [Doctor on Demand by Included Health] is looking to establish a business relationship with an ABPN Certified Psychiatrist who is licensed (or willing to become licensed) to provide services in these states.


Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients through a video-based encounter
  • Perform virtual comprehensive mental health evaluations, compile patient medical data, including health history and mental status examination findings
  • Psychotropic medication management including evaluation of patient medical history, and medication response, adherence and tolerability for each individual patient treated
  • Develop and implement behavioral health treatment plans, evaluate results of mental health assessments, and provide med management to patients
  • Collect, record and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history and reports


Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
  • ABPN Board-certified in Psychiatry
  • Active and unrestricted M.D. or D.O. medical license in the state of residence required
  • Keep up-to-date with continuing medical education
  • Navigate video-conferencing platforms and learn new technology, such as Athena


Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
  • Prompt and regular attendance to scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to work shifts of at least various hours.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment.
  • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
  • Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.


Full-Time: 30hrs/wk min - $316,000/yr on average with guaranteed base + equity + benefits


Included Health also offers additional productivity incentives for employees that exceed the visit target. Details of the incentive structure will be discussed during the interview process.
