For one of our clients, we are looking for a Manual QA Engineer (Mobile & Web API Testing), remotely from Georgia / Poland / Serbia.

As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of mobile applications and web APIs through manual testing. You will work closely with the development and product teams to write test cases, create test documentation, and continuously improve the testing processes. You will also be involved in patch testing, troubleshooting defects, and ensuring the stability and functionality of the applications by following agile development principles. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the testing processes and drive the quality of a rapidly evolving product.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for mobile applications and web APIs.
  • Conduct patch testing and ensure the timely stabilization of releases by testing frequent updates.
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to identify defects and provide clear defect reports.
  • Follow agile methodologies, actively participating in sprint activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
  • Continually improve the testing process through the adoption of best practices and the automation of repetitive tasks.

  • Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, checklists, and test scenarios.
  • Strong ability to identify defects, document them effectively, and follow through on resolution.
  • Solid understanding of agile software development principles and the role of testing in this process.
  • Familiarity with client-server application principles.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Testrail/Allure TestOps, MS SQL Server, Fiddler, and Postman.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, distributed team environment with excellent communication skills.
