Are you ready to take your skills to the next level as an Automation and Control System Specialist at Kanadevia Inova? Based in Hinkley, UK, you'll be joining a pioneering team that is transforming waste into valuable resources. At Kanadevia Inova, we believe in innovating for a brighter, greener future. Your role will involve providing technical support, conducting routine maintenance, and troubleshooting a range of control systems, including Valmet DNA, Siemens PCS7, and Emerson DeltaV or Ovation. Not only will you oversee system upgrades and configuration, but you'll also dive into troubleshooting complex issues that might arise in hardware or software. Bringing new control systems online is a thrilling part of the job, where your hands-on expertise in HMI/SCADA systems and field instrumentation will shine. You’ll also have the opportunity to train customers in operation and maintenance best practices, ensuring they maximize the capabilities of their systems. With a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering and solid experience in the field, including knowledge of industry protocols and control logic development, you’ll be perfectly poised to thrive in this role.
