Junior Backend Developer (Node.js)

We are looking for skillful Backend Developers to join one of our teams working with US clients - referrals from the high-end American IT market.


Our tech stack is built around React, React Native, Node.js, TypeScript and Python. We are working with startups in their early stages (MVPs), which makes the job full of diverse and exciting challenges while crafting innovative solutions.


Enjoy the flexibility of working within the Polish time zone and collaborate with clients from diverse industries such as FinTech, SportsTech, MedTech, and many others.


Salary: PLN 6.000 - 10.000 + VAT (B2B); PLN 5.700 - 8.000 brutto (UZL)


  • Required: At least 6 months of commercial experience with Node.js, knowledge hungry, understand basic JS concepts (ES 2018+), basic experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (e.g Express.js, NestJS), understand what SOLID & DRY stand for
  • Offer: B2B/UZL, paid days off, 100% remote (or hybrid/onsite - as you prefer), Polish time zone, flexible hours, full time position, long term contract, Scrum Teams

Your future tasks and duties:
  • Writing personal-best possible JS/TS code with OOP flavour
  • Technical involvement in the product - finding the ways to improve it
  • Writing documentation for delivered code
  • Peer code review
  • Reuse and improve of the company knowledge base
  • Communicate with the team to efficiently translate business complexity (user stories/tasks) into solutions (end results/estimations)
  • Learning, learning and learning ;)


About you - Tech skills & Experience:
  • 6-12 months of commercial experience with Node.js
  • Understand basic JS concepts (ES 2018+), use Classes, and follow recent additions/functionalities
  • Basic experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (e.g. Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, etc) - know basic APIs/features, worked on at least 1 project involving such technologies, would be great to have commercial experience in it
  • Know what OOP is, understand basic good practices and data structures, want to have a SOLID and DRY code with the use of design patterns
  • Have worked with SQL database (integration wise) with ORM or query builder tool (ie. Prisma, Knex)
