👨‍💻 About the Role 


We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Pricing Analyst to be a part of our expanding team in the London! This role will be responsible for providing insight and analytics into our price setting as well as helping execute our pricing strategy. There is huge opportunity for career development in this role as we will look to iterate on the strategy frequently.

 

👋 About You 


As a Senior Pricing Analyst at Mous, you'll work collaboratively within the Digital team. You will report directly to Hugh Williams, our Digital Director but you will work cross-functionally with our channel owners (Website and Marketplaces) to understand how price impacts channel performance. You will also work with the Data team to build out our pricing reporting. Additionally, you will interface with our Growth team to understand the intersection between pricing and marketing levels and our Operations team to understand stock management requirements.


🔑 Key Responsibilities
  • Build out best-in-class Pricing reporting, working with our Data team
  • Own the roll-out of our pricing strategy, taking on in-flight projects and driving them to completion
  • Design and implement experiments to answer key strategic questions
  • Own the pricing processes; look to drive continuous improvement in our processes
  • Turn data into actionable insight, and feed this back into strategic decisions
  • Work collaboratively with channel owners to understand how price drives success and feed this into the strategy
  • Work with the Growth team to understand the interface between marketing spend
  • Own the pricing mechanisms for stock management. Seek to understand when stock is 'at-risk' and use discounting to mitigate these risks

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication 
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • A 2.1 degree or higher in a numerical degree
  • 1-3 years experience in an analytical or consulting role
  • Technical skills (we will offer training in these but some prior knowledge is advantageous): SQL, R, Power BI
  • Biased-to-action
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Genuine passion in uncovering insight in large data sets

We have a hybrid approach to working at Mous so our team can have flexibility during the week, and we can retain the collaborative and vibrant Mous culture that people love. We expect people to come into the office at least two days a week but some teams opt for more as it’s beneficial for their workflow.
