We work with over 1,500 leading companies including the likes of Microsoft, Citi and Just Eat to help solve their business-critical problems, and we’ve trained over 16,000 professional apprentices in the tech and data skills of the future. The Opportunity

As a Learning Assessor, you'll not only contribute to the development of our apprentices but also expand your own skillset. You'll have have the opportunity to:

  • Broaden Your Subject Matter Expertise: Work across various apprenticeship programmes with the opportunity to up-skill in fields like Data, Business Transformation and AI; gaining exposure to diverse industries and topics

  • Enhance Your Feedback and Communication Skills: Provide detailed, constructive feedback that empowers apprentices to thrive.

  • Contribute to Innovation: Play a key role in improving our assessment processes and contributing to the overall quality of our programmes.

Specifically, you will

  • Provide detailed, accurate, and timely feedback on apprentice assignments, adhering to provided rubrics and marking schemes.

  • Master the use of our assessment platforms and tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in grading.

  • Maintain a high level of consistency and quality in your assessments, aligning with Multiverse's assessment criteria and standards.

  • Contribute to a positive learning environment by providing clear, actionable feedback that motivates apprentice growth.

  • Take ownership of assessment related issues by, proactively identifying and reporting any assessment-related issues and improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate with operations and quality teams to ensure accurate and reliable assessment data.

  • Build and maintain credibility with apprentices by demonstrating a strong understanding of programme concepts and assessment criteria.

  • Continuously contribute to process improvements by providing feedback on assessment methodologies.

About you

Necessary:

  • 1+ years of work experience in industry/academic environment or equivalent

  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise feedback

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to apply assessment criteria consistently

  • Passion for supporting the development of others through effective assessment

  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing assessment tools and rubrics

Desirable:

  • You have industry experience/a high level of professional interest in 1-2 domains we teach (AI, Data, Software Engineering, Business Transformation), and a willingness and ability to expand your knowledge to work across all programmes

  • Experience providing feedback in professional or academic setting (not necessarily written/formal)
