As a part-time team member working from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., you’ll play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to adult patients with various acute medical and surgical conditions. This 26-bed unit specializes in complicated surgeries, such as esophagectomies, surgical-oncology cases, and multi-level spinal fusions. As a Patient Care Technician, you’ll work alongside dedicated registered nurses, ensuring optimal patient outcomes with an ideal ratio of 1:3-4 for step-down care. Your responsibilities will include direct patient care, assisting with medication drips for surgical patients, and supporting medical step-down and overflow needs to enhance hospital throughput.
