Job Description

The Job Change Coordinator will have an impact on job change efficiency, plant revenue, machine downtime, and the overall plant budget.

The Job Change Coordinator will:

  • Manage and improve the job change efficiency and process to increase plant revenue.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives that will improve productivity and quality.
  • Establish training programs and effective job change meeting structure.  
  • Optimize scheduling of preventative maintenance during job changes to maximize production.
  • Perform root-cause analysis to resolve issues and problems.
  • Communicate metrics and goals to the plant teams.

The Job Change Coordinator should have:

  • Ability to lead efforts to improve safety during job change activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with particular attention to detail
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment and using Lean Six Sigma tools.
  • Strong background in process improvement and project management
  • Ability and comfort providing training to all levels within an organization

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3-5 years experience project management and/or process improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in MS Office, with the ability to learn new systems and programs
  • Experience writing standard operating procedures and creating standard working documents
  • Previous experience with production planning is preferred
  • Previous glass manufacturing experience is preferred, particularly glass forming experience

What We Offer:

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $87,000 and $120,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.   Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
