Job Description

The Job Change Coordinator will have an impact on job change efficiency, plant revenue, machine downtime, and the overall plant budget.

The Job Change Coordinator will:

Manage and improve the job change efficiency and process to increase plant revenue.
Recommend and implement initiatives that will improve productivity and quality.
Establish training programs and effective job change meeting structure.
Optimize scheduling of preventative maintenance during job changes to maximize production.
Perform root-cause analysis to resolve issues and problems.
Communicate metrics and goals to the plant teams.

The Job Change Coordinator should have:

Ability to lead efforts to improve safety during job change activities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with particular attention to detail
Experience in a lean manufacturing environment and using Lean Six Sigma tools.
Strong background in process improvement and project management
Ability and comfort providing training to all levels within an organization

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
3-5 years experience project management and/or process improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in MS Office, with the ability to learn new systems and programs
Experience writing standard operating procedures and creating standard working documents
Previous experience with production planning is preferred
Previous glass manufacturing experience is preferred, particularly glass forming experience

Additional Information

What We Offer:

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $87,000 and $120,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
