Director, Employee Relations

**Job Description**The HR Director, Employee Relations will report to the VP Employee Relations. This role leads the team aligned to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and NetSuite lines of business. As HR Director, Employee Relations, you will join a newly formed organization focused on providing timely and strategic support of employee relations matters as well as other aligned responsibilities while offering proactive engagement for the lines of business as well as those we partner with across Human Resources.• *This Director position will lead a team responsible for:**+ In partnership with the VP Employee Relations and the leadership team, lead the success of this new team charter and dependencies with key stakeholder organizations. Planning and executing workflows, communications, and operational improvements that cultivate growth, innovation, and organizational efficiency.+ **Core HR Workstreams:** Manage the team in maintaining and implementing HR workstreams, policies and procedures (LOA, Accommodation, Internal Transfers, Job Code Review, D&S, International Assignment, etc.).+ **Employee Relations** : Responsible for leading one of the 3 teams in our employee relations function which collectively support all lines of business in the US. This includes employee complaints, grievances, allegations of misconduct, retaliation or policy violations of company policy and employment law, and performance management while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process.+ **People Management:** Lead and manage a team of HR professionals. Set team and individual goals and priorities, provide coaching and career development.+ **Support and Coach Managers:** Give managers the help they need with performance and conduct issues. Provide the tools and guidance they need to handle challenges and keep their teams running smoothly.+ **Escalation Management:** Own and action escalations to the best possible solution. Look at situations from all angles to assess risks and develop balanced responses. Aim to resolve situations quickly and responsibly.+ **Interpret Policies:** Clarify HR policies and make sure they are applied consistently. Help everyone understand their responsibilities.+ **Collaboration** : Build a culture of collaboration with managers, employees, and partner functions across HR.+ **Process** : Build, implement and adhere to set processes to ensure consistent delivery of service within policy.+ **Build Positive Relationships:** Keep our work environment supportive and inclusive. Help us build and maintain great relationships between our and our employees.Career Level - M4• *Responsibilities**• *Candidate Profile:**+ A minimum of 10 years Human Resources experience in a high technology environment. 6 or more years of successful people management experience is required.+ Expert in employee relations with a history of handling complex issues. Provide subject matter expertise in employment/labor laws and regulations, as well as Oracle's processes and practices.+ Key skills and abilities include management, coaching, influencing, problem solving, consulting, communication, and process development.+ Proven experience building, leading, and managing a team of Human Resources professionals; ideally at a high-tech company.+ Demonstrated ability to achieve success through others' success, develop capability and support individual growth.+ Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with a range of HR colleagues in support of business impacting initiatives and processes.+ Ability to develop and implement repeatable processes. Manage team committed to consistent delivery of work product.+ Data driven mindset with proficiency in HRIS/HCM systems, and related reporting mechanisms.+ Strong ability to work in a collaborative team environment.+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on both strategic and tactical levels.+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to coach and influence others.+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written, with the ability to conduct business with managers and employees at all levels.+ Must be able to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.+ BA/BS degree related to the field of Human Resources. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.9. 11 paid holidays10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.11. Paid parental leave12.
