Product Designer

We are looking for a Product Designer to own our end to end design process, from conception to final launch. The ideal fit for this role is someone who is passionate and committed to do whatever it takes to build the optimal product for our customers. As a foundational member of the team, you will establish the framework for our design ethos at Patlytics, enabling us to deliver swiftly and with the highest level of precision.

You’ll be responsible for owning the following:

  • Leading the end-to-end design process for multiple simultaneous projects, from conception to final launch

  • Working closely with product & our in-house attorneys to iterate on designs and align with customers

  • Crafting user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and polished mockups that precisely convey design ideas and resolutions to stakeholders

  • Creating solutions for unaddressed challenges in AI product and design—creating user experiences tailored for patent agents/IP professionals and guided workflows for streamlining professional services

  • Introducing cutting-edge, contemporary design frameworks to clients accustomed to traditional systems

  • Building and curating a lean design system that enables our designers and engineers to ship more effectively

  • Working cross-functionally with engineers to implement designs 

  • Working alongside our founders, product, and legal research teams

  • Learning how to actually make LLMs useful for complex knowledge work

Qualifications:

  • 2-8 years of experience in product design at venture-funded companies

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver best in class enterprise software products

  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality work in ambiguous situations

  • Strong communication skills needed to effectively partner with engineers and lawyers

  • Big picture thinking while still having a keen eye for detail

  • B2B / Commercial experience

  • Experience with or knowledge of AI and LLMs
