The Solution Engineering Team at Precisely partners with our clients to unlock their full potential by implementing tailored solutions that drive their growth and success. We emphasize the importance of trusted data, ensuring our clients can rely on accurate, consistent and contextual information for their decision-making processes. Our team plays a crucial role in influencing revenue growth across the Precisely product portfolio. We collaborate closely with sales, services, product management, and the Precisely executive team to deliver the best experience to our most valued customers.

As a member of the team, Solution Engineers at Precisely build highly consultative and trusted relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers within our clients' organizations. We provide both business and technical thought leadership, becoming trusted advisors in addressing mission-critical business challenges. Our role involves architecting solutions that leverage trusted data to enhance efficiency and provide a competitive advantage. We emphasize the importance of data integrity, including data integration, data quality, location intelligence, and enrichment, ensuring our clients can rely on accurate and comprehensive information for their decision-making processes.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • As a key member of the virtual account team, you will be deeply involved in defining customer strategies, identifying and closing complex opportunities, and accelerating solution adoption.
  • You will drive thought leadership and act as a trusted advisor for C-suite, economic buyers and key decision makers
  • Your role will involve understanding the customer’s business objectives, aligning the Precisely portfolio, and developing and articulating end-to-end customer transformation journeys.
  • Leading strategy engagements, you will align with business priorities, design solutions, and secure technical wins by performing in-depth customer discovery and evangelizing proposed solutions through executive briefings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
  • You will expand the Precisely footprint within existing accounts by introducing new capabilities and extending the Precisely presence to new global markets and business units.
  • Acting as the “Voice of the Customer,” you will bring insights, trends, and opportunities to product management and engineering teams, ensuring they are prioritized for delivery.
  • You will be the face of Precisely by providing thought leadership, creating content such as white papers and blogs, and engaging in public speaking.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing role such as solution consultant, solution architect, or sales engineer, within a global software enterprise.
  • Executive engagement skills and presence, with the ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers and build credibility at all levels.
  • Effective group-facilitation skills and confidence in proposing and leading customer meetings to gain strategic footing and pursue opportunities.
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, presentation skills, and confidence in explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Precisely data integrity solutions, including data integration, data quality, location intelligence, and enrichment, exploring their various features and integration methodologies.
  • Gather an in-depth understanding of the Precisely product portfolio and their applicability across diverse business models to beneficially cater to individual clients' and their customers' needs.
  • Ability to understand how a wide variety of applications such as ERP, CRM, and legacy systems interact with each other in a platform technology stack/ecosystem
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities while working with multiple strategic opportunities and customers.
  • Approximately 30% or more travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way with customers.
  • Experience with the Precisely product portfolio, particularly those focused on data integration, data quality, location intelligence, and enrichment.
  • Familiarity with modern and/or emerging technologies such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc.), cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake), AI/ML, generative AI & large language models, and their applications in solving business challenges.
  • Extensive experience in a key industry such as financial services, insurance, telecommunications, utilities, etc.
  • Strategic and creative thinker who can proactively identify challenges and maintain a positive approach when facing difficult obstacles.
