Construction Project Manager - Federal Sector

Procon Consulting, a fast-growing professional services firm in McLean, VA with expertise in providing program and project management for design and construction, project controls, commissioning, construction-related technology, and facilities management, seeks a Construction/Project Manager supporting a government healthcare client in the Newington, CT area. The candidate will be supporting the staff in the management of the construction project and will handle the following:


Responsibilities & Duties
  • Provide decisive direction in regard to business, technical, and project management involving multi-disciplinary and diverse functional activities across an active healthcare facility.
  • Overall management - technical quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Maintain daily progress reports and inspection reports.
  • Lead the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight.


Qualifications and Skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field from an accredited University is required. Educational requirement may be substituted by fifteen (15) years of directly related experience.
  • 7 + years of experience in management of healthcare facility construction projects including supervision of engineering, design and construction, schedule control, cost management and program budgeting, and overall project management activities.
  • The ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with project construction team members.


$95,000 - $125,000 a year
Salary is commensurate with experience
