Description | The Implementation Specialist is responsible for onboarding customers and managing customer implementations. It is important that the Implementation Specialist be confident, professional, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. A successful Implementation Specialist will be very organized, patient, and possess solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities | Duties include but are not limited to:
Serve as primary contact for customers during the implementation and onboarding phase of the customer lifecycle
Set up customer accounts in the applicable database, using native tools and/or a third-party customer management software platform
Develop and execute customized implementation project plans and project analysis, including organizing and conducting regular project status calls internally and externally
Work cross-departmentally with Development, Product, Sales, and Client Success to remove roadblocks and ensure a successful and timely implementation
Assist customers with setup, configuration, and workflow decisions based on product knowledge
Ensure all workflows and processes related to onboarding and implementations are completed on time and within budget
Ensure a successful product launch and adoption post-go-live
Partner with Technical Support on Customer post-go-live configuration needs
Work with customers on Propelus products and services, both onsite (travel may be required) and online
Complete post-implementation assessments and evaluations
Assist in greater departmental goals and process improvements beyond Customer engagements
Participate in pre-sales activities, such as product demonstrations and proposal development, to support the sales team.
Qualifications & Desired Skills |
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
1-2 years of implementation experience, or a related professional services role ideally in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) or healthcare setting.
Exceptional skills in both written and verbal communication.
Strong customer–service orientation.
Creative thinking and analytical problem-solving.
Detail-oriented and organizational skills.
Technical Proficiency
Experience building, testing and deploying applications.
Data analysis tools, including Excel and SQL
Ticketing systems like Jira and Zendesk preferred
Potential Travel up to 10%.
