Description |  The Implementation Specialist is responsible for onboarding customers and managing customer implementations. It is important that the Implementation Specialist be confident, professional, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. A successful Implementation Specialist will be very organized, patient, and possess solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities | Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as primary contact for customers during the implementation and onboarding phase of the customer lifecycle

  • Set up customer accounts in the applicable database, using native tools and/or a third-party customer management software platform

  • Develop and execute customized implementation project plans and project analysis, including organizing and conducting regular project status calls internally and externally

  • Work cross-departmentally with Development, Product, Sales, and Client Success to remove roadblocks and ensure a successful and timely implementation

  • Assist customers with setup, configuration, and workflow decisions based on product knowledge

  • Ensure all workflows and processes related to onboarding and implementations are completed on time and within budget

  • Ensure a successful product launch and adoption post-go-live

  • Partner with Technical Support on Customer post-go-live configuration needs

  • Work with customers on Propelus products and services, both onsite (travel may be required) and online

  • Complete post-implementation assessments and evaluations

  • Assist in greater departmental goals and process improvements beyond Customer engagements

  • Participate in pre-sales activities, such as product demonstrations and proposal development, to support the sales team.

Qualifications & Desired Skills |

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.

  • 1-2 years of implementation experience, or a related professional services role ideally in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) or healthcare setting.

  • Exceptional skills in both written and verbal communication.

  • Strong customer–service orientation.

  • Creative thinking and analytical problem-solving.

  • Detail-oriented and organizational skills.

  • Technical Proficiency

    • Experience building, testing and deploying applications.

    • Data analysis tools, including Excel and SQL

    • Ticketing systems like Jira and Zendesk preferred

  • Potential Travel up to 10%.

Full-time positions are scheduled to work 40 hours per week, M-F unless required otherwise by projects. Part-time positions are scheduled to work a maximum of 30 hours per week (all part-time positions will be specified in the job title). Equipment, benefits, and perks are not provided to part-time employees. This job is open to candidates authorized to work in the US and located within US borders.
