WHO YOU ARE
Join our dynamic finance team as a Finance Intern / Apprentice! This hands-on role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in financial bookkeeping, analysis, and reporting. You’ll assist with financial data entry, processing and reconciliations while learning from industry professionals. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient in Excel and pursuing a career in an accounting role.
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
Data Entry: Assisting with entering financial data into our accounting system, ExactOnline and preparing data for upload to accounting
Invoice and Expense Processing: Supporting the team by checking and processing invoices on AP management system, Payhawk .
Reconciliations: Reconciling bank accounts, customer accounts, supplier accounts and Intercompany accounts
Month-end Journals: Preparing and posting depreciation, FX and other month-end entries
Report Preparation: Helping to create basic financial reports and summaries and reviewing data entered using Excel.
Team Support: Providing general support to the finance team on daily tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Qualification: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; or pursuing AAT, ACCA, CIMA or other professional finance qualifications.
No prior experience required, but any coursework or projects related to finance or accounting is a plus.
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic analytical thinking.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication abilities in English
Organizational Skills: Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate and support the finance team.
Eagerness to Learn: Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow in a finance role.
