RADIAS Health has multiple Mental Health Practitioner positions available at our Main Street Housing program. Our program provides supportive housing services collaboratively with Catholic Charities staff. RADIAS Health employees are co-located with Catholic Charities staff at the Higher Ground St. Paul site. Emphasis is placed on working with persons served in a residential setting. Our primary goals are to maintain a safe and secure milieu, to assess collaboratively with each individual what supports are needed to help maintain housing, to work with each individual to formulate a person-centered goal plan and to either provide those supports directly to each person or seek out outside providers who can more effectively assist in this manner. We work with other members of the team to assist persons served in obtaining and maintaining optimum quality of life consistent with individual needs and preferences.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field and 1-year experience working with adults with mental illness.

You’ll play a pivotal role in assessing individual needs, formulating personalized goal plans, and coordinating additional support services as necessary. Each day will bring opportunities to teach skills like budgeting, conversation, and relaxation techniques while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Your experience and expertise will come into play as you help identify individuals susceptible to behavioral emergencies, create crisis plans, and lead in de-escalation. Of course, this role requires close collaboration with other treatment team members and outside providers to ensure the highest quality of life for those you serve. With a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field and preferably a year of experience working with adults facing mental health challenges, you'll thrive in this empowering and dynamic setting.
