About the Role
In this position, you will:
Communicate and implement the strategic direction of the organization’s production departments.
· Support and assist with the alignment of processes and solutions to meet the organization’s business needs effectively and efficiently.
· Collaborate with the VP of Operations and other executive leadership to develop and meet the organization’s backlog and conversion goals, and to ensure timely and efficient project installations.
· Collaborate with the VP of Operations and other executive leadership to conduct the organization’s overarching goals and objectives.
· Analyze financial information associated with each specific project to maintain labor and material costs and increase profitability.
· Identify, establish, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline production, installation, service, and warehouse processes and resources.
· Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision.
· Present performance reports and metrics to the VP of Operations and other executive leadership.
· This role will assist the VP of Operations from a budgeting or replacement standpoint as to the quantity of Production, Service, and Field Staff needed through the communication of known back-end efficiencies or skillset shortfall.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Engineering, or another industry-related field preferred.
· Prefer at least 10 years of industry-related experience including three years in management.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
· Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and related software.
· Collaborator with the ability to take on more responsibility and grow with the role and organization.
· Experience working in both a W2 and 1099 work environment.
