If you're a skilled Mid-Level HVAC Engineer, Sargent & Lundy is looking for you to join our dynamic Chicago team! In this role, you'll tackle exciting assignments that involve designing robust HVAC systems and troubleshooting diverse engineering challenges. You'll collaborate with fellow engineers and project managers to create integrated solutions for commercial and industrial ventilation systems, control room HVAC, laboratory HVAC, chilled water systems, and heating systems. With about three years of experience in HVAC design and a robust understanding of ASHRAE standards, you'll perform essential tasks like design calculations, preparing technical specifications, and delivering engineering studies. As you support your team, your involvement in planning, developing, and coordinating project phases will be crucial to ensure timely and comprehensive designs. You'll also have the opportunity to review existing facilities for potential upgrades, presenting your findings directly to clients and peers. This hybrid position allows you to work from home two days a week, offering flexibility while you make a significant impact in the engineering space.
