As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the various business teams with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
Advising internal stakeholders on commercial and compliance matters
Assisting with contract management and corporate governance tasks, including maintaining corporate records
Conducting legal research and providing actionable advice to internal teams
Collaborating with external legal advisors where necessary

To succeed in this role, you should have:

A Master’s degree (LL.M.) in Dutch law, with a focus on business law or information technology
At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably gained at a reputable law firm or as an in-house legal counsel in a large company
Strong knowledge of Dutch contract law
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality
The ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
Nice to have: a basic understanding of data privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, ePrivacy Directive)
Nice to have: experience with e-commerce businesses and a basic understanding in SaaS models and service-level agreements (SLAs)
