Day in the Life: 

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Pharmacist to join our Nampa Inpatient Pharmacy team at St. Luke’s Nampa Medical Center. In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Transition of Care and Meds-to-Beds pharmacy services. Additionally, you will play a key role in the growth and development of this expanding team. This is a FLEX position. 

 

As the team evolves, there may be occasional requirements to work weekends and holidays to meet operational needs.

 

What to Expect: 

  • Serve as functional lead for pharmacy services of specialty practice area based on interest, experience and assignment.
  • May service as Pharmacist-in-Charge at location if a Director is unable.
  • Function as an online pharmacist as scheduled.
  • Works collaboratively within organization structures to improve medication use outcomes
  • Mentor and train staff.
  • Precept students and residents for learning experiences.
  • Design and implement pharmacy operational processes for practice area.
  • Coordinate practice activities under the direction of overall departmental leadership
  • May serve as an evaluator of staff within team.
  • If specialty certification is available obtain board certification from the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties within 2 years.

 

 

 Qualifications: 

  • Education: Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
  • Experience: 2 years' experience (MBA or Residency in lieu of 2 years exp.)
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid Pharmacist License in state of practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
