THE CHALLENGE

 

The Information Security Education Lead drives the evolution of the organization’s security education program, making information security engaging and relevant to technical and non technical employees. This role focuses on delivering high-impact training and awareness content that resonates with the audience, keeping pace with emerging threats, including region-specific risks. Collaborating with the information security team, they translate complex security concepts into actionable insights that align with the fast-paced gaming industry. As the go-to expert for security communications, they lead initiatives like Cyber Awareness Month, using creative, game-inspired campaigns to keep security top of mind.

WHAT YOU’LL TAKE ON

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and execution of the information security education program, ensuring alignment with industry regulations, standards, and company security policies.
  • Lead and continuously improve the program to keep it relevant, engaging, and impactful for diverse employee groups, including developers, technical teams, managers, and senior leaders.
  • Identify key security priorities by collaborating with the Information Security team and incorporating compliance requirements to address critical risks.
  • Create engaging and tailored educational content for employees at all levels, from new hires to senior managers and technical staff.
  • Develop and manage multifaceted security content, including presentations, videos, blog posts, and other interactive learning materials.
  • Drive security awareness initiatives, such as phishing simulations and hands-on exercises, to strengthen employees' ability to recognize and respond to threats.
  • Measure the program’s success through data-driven metrics that assess employee engagement and overall program impact.
  • Serve as the primary security communications lead, translating complex security concepts into clear, compelling messages and awareness campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, adapting the program to address emerging security threats, particularly those relevant to the gaming industry.
  • Lead cross-label initiatives and mentor junior staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in writing and designing educational materials, preferably in information security.
  • Proven experience delivering training to large audiences both in person and remotely.
  • Expertise in designing engaging awareness content related to technology or information security.
  • Ability to simplify complex security topics and communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled in adapting training content for diverse audiences and organizational levels.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Highly self-motivated and organized, with strong time-management skills.
  • Experience designing and performing phishing awareness campaigns is a plus.
  • Ability to create concise and informational cybersecurity publications.
  • Familiarity with phishing tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a bonus.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of security education programs.
  • Creative and innovative approach for developing fresh, impactful learning experiences.
  • Understanding of workplace culture dynamics and how they influence employee behavior and learning.

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $123,500 and $182,780 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
