The gamers' trust in our games has resulted in our newest project, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, selling more than 5 million copies across all platforms within the first month after release. 

On top of continuously growing the world of Dying Light through a robust post-launch support plan for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, we're also working on an unannounced AAA Open World Action RPG set in a brand new fantasy universe; our biggest project to date.

As a Game Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from Techland’s titles and compiling reports to support business decisions.

Job Description

Your daily tasks:

  • Analyzing the game data in order to understand the players needs and evaluate the game mechanics.
  • Running rapid ad-hoc analyses to address the urgent business and/or development needs.
  • Identifying the best solutions for given problems applying the vast range of knowledge and understanding of the game data, gaming market and proper analytical approaches.
  • Preparing actionable recommendations based on conducted analyses.
  • Supporting various areas of the development with game analytics.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in working as a product analyst or game analyst.
  • Genuine passion for games and their creation as well as knowledge of the latest titles and trends in AAA games - must have!
  • Understanding the nature of game development workflows and the game data essence as well.
  • Passion to learn and develop in game analytics and related fields.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with Looker Studio and BigQuery.
  • Ability to clearly communicate the results both verbally and visually along with the clear understanding of data visualization techniques and approaches. 
  • Analytical and structured approach to solving the given task.
  • Team-oriented and delivery-oriented attitude.
  • No hesitation to take complex tasks which may involve the areas with no prior experience.
  • Very good command of English (cooperation with English-speaking teams).

Nice to have:

  • Python coding experience.
  • Experience with Tableau.
  • Experience with GCP.
  • Technical background in game development (QA, game design, level design).
