Our client is the largest producer of long steel in Latin America, with steel mills in Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela. Currently, they have an installed capacity of 26 million metric tons of steel per year and offers steel for the civil construction, automobile, industrial, agricultural and various sectors. Our client is also the world’s 30th largest steelmaker. It has 337 industrial and commercial units and more than 30,000 employees across 10 countries. They have 9 mills sprinkled across the US and Canada, biggest mill in Canada is Ontario. They buy steel through recyclers, melt it down at the mills.
Their Network team supports their NA headquarters and mill locations, and they need to bring someone in to support their networking environment. It is a small networking team as they partner with a vendor for a lot of the environment, but they have a Network Architect and a junior/entry level person, and need to bring on a Network Engineer. Day to day this person will be working network troubleshooting tickets - ex: if a mill switch is down, checking ports, fiber connection issues, issues with their cisco VOIP system, troubleshooting wireless access points

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
