Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of materials, parts, and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to perform detailed inspections and quality checks.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to verify product conformity.
Document and report non-conformances, defects, and deviations, and collaborate with the production team to address and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, tests, and other quality assurance activities.
Perform first article inspections (FAI) using Net-Inspect and ensure compliance with AS9102 and other relevant quality standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and quality improvements.
Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in quality control or inspection (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) is a plus.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
