About the Role

As a Contract Events Marketer at TbT, you will play a key role in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and strengthening relationships by leading the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events. This role is ideal for an experienced event professional who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is looking for flexible, project-based work with the potential for ongoing collaboration.

In this role you will

  • Manage the full lifecycle of events (both in-person and virtual)—including planning, logistics, promotion, execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate a calendar of events, such as conferences, webinars, workshops, and partner collaborations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Leadership) to align event plans with strategic goals.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel promotional campaigns to drive attendance and engagement, including email, social media, and partner outreach.
  • Handle event logistics such as venue coordination, registration management, technology setup, speaker preparation, and creation of collateral.
  • Capture and track event leads, working closely with the Sales team to ensure smooth follow-up.
  • Measure and report on event performance (attendance, engagement, lead quality, ROI) and provide data-informed recommendations for future events.
  • Manage event budgets to ensure cost-effective execution.

You are the ideal candidate if you have

  • 3+ years of experience managing both in-person and virtual events, ideally in EdTech, K-12 education, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Strong project management abilities—comfortable balancing multiple events, timelines, and stakeholders.

You will also have the potential for travel throughout the United States.
