Cash Managment Accountant l

UMB Institutional Banking encompasses the following areas: Corporate Trust, Specialty Trust & Agency Solutions, Fund Services, Institutional Custody, Investment Banking, Investor Solutions, Public Finance and Healthcare Services. It combines institutionally focused capabilities into one cohesive unit, serving the entire institutional marketplace from smaller correspondent banks and municipalities to the largest broker-dealers and fund companies in the United States 

 

As a Cash Management Accountant I, you will monitor all incoming and outgoing wires for DDA accounts. You will also be responsible for working through ACH rejects and authorizations while investigating the cause of rejected and returned wires. As necessary, you will collaborate with other areas to gain needed information in order to keep track of exceptions. 

 

As a level I, you will learn how to book all wires as well as the rejection process. As you grow in your career and become more proficient in your work, you will be responsible for more complex rejects while also tracking all exceptions.  

 

The team works hard but, in a fun, relaxed environment where the dress code is casual. This team empowers their associates. Your input is not only valued but relied upon my management. This is a very small group where working very closely together is essential 

 

How you’ll spend your time:  

  • Use your analytical skills to resolve exceptions to achieve a clear exception report. 

  • Use your attention to detail to send wires to the correct location to achieve complete accuracy. 

  • Use your customer service to work collaboratively with other departments to complete daily work and special projects.

  • You possess one year of directly related wire banking or financial services experience. 

Compensation Range:

$37,490.00 - $71,920.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
