To qualify as a Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider at the University of Maryland Medical System, you must hold a bachelor's degree with relevant credentials. For Physician Assistants, this includes graduation from an ARC-PA accredited program and certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician’s Assistants. For Nurse Practitioners, an Acute Nurse Practitioner degree and RN experience are required along with an active Maryland license. Prior experience in surgical, emergency, or critical care settings is preferred, and maintaining BLS/ACLS certifications is essential.

As a Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider at the University of Maryland Medical System, you will work six 13-hour shifts in a two-week pay period.
