Marketing Content Specialist

We are looking for a creative and data-driven Content Marketing Specialist to join our Demand Generation team. In this role, you will develop and execute content strategies that engage our target audience, build brand awareness, and drive measurable results. You will work directly with the Demand Generation Marketing Manager to launch effective inbound campaigns. This position requires a strong understanding of content marketing best practices, excellent copywriting and editing skills, and a passion for storytelling.

Monthly Salary Range: Minimum: $5,375 - $6,719

This is a hybrid position requiring in office work Monday - Wednesday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content strategies that align with and effectively support business objectives.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content for blogs, websites, email campaigns, social media, print and other digital channels.
  • Create and deploy email marketing campaigns within the HubSpot marketing automation platform.
  • Nurture leads at every stage of the funnel by providing the information and answers needed to build trust and stay connected until prospects are ready to convert.
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to optimize content.
  • Plan and implement content calendars.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine strategies.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure content is aligned with brand strategy, voice and VELUX values.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficient in using HubSpot.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in content marketing or a similar role.
  • 2+ years of experience with Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent skills in writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of analyzing data to generate actionable insights.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling.
  • Experience in graphic design is a plus.
  • Compliance with all rules of conduct, safety regulations, and policies provided in employee handbooks, company bulletin boards/announcements, terms/conditions of employment, or other means of communication is a requirement of the job.
