As an Engineering Manager (m/f/d) your mission is to empower your team to build high-quality, scalable, and reliable software while ensuring timely delivery. You will provide technical and strategic leadership, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By optimizing processes, enhancing team structure, and refining engineering rituals, you will create an environment where engineers can thrive, grow, and deliver impactful solutions.

• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.

• Optimize developer experience, tooling, and workflows.
  Continuously improve engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools to maximize efficiency and reduce friction.

• Oversee project execution, meeting deadlines and business impact goals.
  Drive project planning, ensure timely delivery, and proactively address risks to keep teams aligned and focused on key objectives.

• Collaborate closely with ML, Product, Data, and Research teams.
  Bridge the gap between engineering and other disciplines, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on technical and business needs.

🤝 Your Skillset – What you bring to the table

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role, with at least 2 years of experience managing high-performing technical teams

• Strong technical background with expertise in software development, system architecture, and best practices

• Experience working in a startup environment at a similar growth stage

• Experience with agile methodologies, project management, and delivery processes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders

• Ability to drive technical strategy and align it with business goals

• Hands-on experience with modern development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing developer workflows

• A passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing talent in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data, ML, and Research

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to identify and mitigate risks proactively

• Fluent in German (C1) and English (C1) to effectively engage with our teams
