What you'll do...

Walmart Global Tech is looking for a talented Senior UX/UI designer to join our Transactional Systems Technology team.  As a part of the Transactional Systems UX team, you’ll design digital products that deliver exceptional experiences for Walmart associates.  The tools that we build digitally enable users, improve efficiency, and help our fellow associates make more data-informed decisions for their teams and the business.

If you are the type of person who enjoys solving complex problems, operates with intention, delivers for the user, knows how to build trust and strong relationships, and advocates for the success of the entire team - then our Senior UX/UI Designer position could be for you. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer, who can communicate design recommendations, execute design ideas, lead discussions, and manage stakeholder relationships.

Enterprise Business Services (EBS) is an organization that sits within Walmart Global Tech. Our mission within EBS is to enable Walmart's global enterprise to spend smartly, act digitally, and build trust with associates, customers, suppliers, and sellers. We build tools that digitally transform the user experience for customers and Walmart associates across 6 pillars

What you'll do:

  • Be responsible for the quality, consistency, and accuracy of a project
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple partners in Product, Business, Engineering, and program management advocating for the value of UX to non-designers
  • Conduct UX discovery, validate use cases, map information architecture, and create user flows
  • Lead and execute user research and present insights to stakeholders
  • Translate use cases into wireframes and prototypes in Figma, applying Walmart’s design system
  • Create hand-off documentation for engineers

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Minimum Qualifications...

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 5 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
