This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 3000000 (ie INR 15-30 LPA)

Min Experience: 3 years

Location: Bangalore

We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in HSR, Bangalore. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and validation. Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning: Design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • Manual & Automated Testing: Conduct both manual and automated testing to verify software functionality, performance, and overall quality.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating closely with developers to drive timely resolutions.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Generate and share regular test reports, progress updates, and quality metrics with key stakeholders.

  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role with a strong grasp of software testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) for test automation.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
