This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

As a SuccessFactors Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing integrations within the SAP SuccessFactors ecosystem. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing integration solutions across HR modules such as Employee Central, Position Management, Recruitment & Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Talent, Succession & Development, Compensation, Learning, and Time Management.

Operating within a DevOps framework, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure seamless integration between enterprise applications. This role demands technical expertise in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Operations (60%)

  • Develop and maintain integrations in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Build, test, and deploy integration solutions, including full and delta load integrations.
  • Manage incident resolution, including major incident handling and root cause analysis.
  • Perform system monitoring, proactive maintenance, and corrective actions.
  • Oversee standard change implementations and SuccessFactors release management (regression testing, adoption of new features).
  • Manage and execute system refreshes to keep environments aligned and optimized.

Projects & Continuous Improvements (30%)

  • Act as a trusted advisor for HR stakeholders, providing expertise on integration architecture and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to define and implement the SuccessFactors integration roadmap.
  • Lead or support integration-related projects, including system upgrades and new implementations.
  • Identify and drive improvements in system performance, data flow efficiency, and integration reliability.

Standards, Training & Personal Development (10%)

  • Ensure adherence to global standards, documentation, and governance in SAP SuccessFactors integrations.
  • Train and guide internal stakeholders on integration processes and best practices.
  • Stay updated on SAP SuccessFactors developments, CPI enhancements, and industry trends.
  • Maintain relevant certifications and technical skills, including SAP Integration Suite and CPI.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT application delivery, system integration, or support within a multinational environment.

Technical Expertise

  • Proven experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), including design, development, and troubleshooting.
  • SAP Certified Associate - Integration Developer (C_CPI_2404) certification is mandatory; SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Integration Suite is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors with third-party applications.
  • Strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors APIs, including Compound Employee API, OData models, and query execution.
  • Expertise in using CPI adapters such as HTTP, SFTP, OData, SOAP, and JMS.
  • Experience with Groovy scripting, XSLT mapping, and message encryption/decryption.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), including effective and non-effective dated data.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle large data sets.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments is a plus.
  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or structured improvement methodologies is a plus.
