Job Title:                                 Lead Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Location:                           701 Experian Parkway, Allen, TX 75013

 

Responsible for day-to-day administration of Large scale of Servers (physical and VM); Develops automation tools and processes to help scale operations; Audits and monitors the health and availability of systems; Responsible for Disaster Recovery testing and restoration of critical services during DR events; Provides systems and services expertise and drive operational best practices; Ensures 24/7 availability of the production servers and applications within a team environment; Resolves incidents and requests. Requires on-call availability on team rotation outside of normal business hours; Leverages appropriate technical tools with direction to perform day-to-day administration tasks, root-cause analysis and service restoration (such as back up, restore, failover, log interpretation, and performance monitoring); Develops and maintains positive and cooperative relationships, inside and outside of teams, interacting in a friendly, open, honest, and accepting manner; Mentors’ junior systems administrators.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in an Infrastructure Automation Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

  1. Experience in automating end-to-end servers builds using a range of technologies such as using Ansible, Packer, and Jenkins to implement automated server builds on both Windows and Linux operating systems
  2. Experience on network automation, leveraging Cisco's API to create endpoint groups and streamlining network operations. 
  3. Experience automating Bluecat for IP reservation, to optimize the utilization of IP addresses and ensures efficient network management.
  4. Experience automating build validation processes to ensure optimal server performance to reduce the time and effort required for manual checks, and ensuring the servers are functioning as expected.
  5. Experience in supporting and managing Ansible Automation Platform for automation of server builds and active directory management.
  6. Experience Automating server account onboarding to CyberArk safe for Linux and Windows for security compliance.
  7. Experience in automating server decommissions processes for Linux and Windows Operating System
  8. Experience with automation tools such as Truesight, Tanium, McAfee, Centrify, and Rapid 7.
  9. Experience managing Active Directory objects and retiring CMDB records within ServiceNow.
  10. Experience removing accounts from CyberArk securely and efficiently.
  11. Experience with IT service management and security protocols related to server decommissioning.

Additional Information
