About The Role

As our Engineer Manager, you will be collaborating with the product, quality, and other teams to build solutions that focus on performance, usability, scalability, and standards. Reporting to the Director of Engineering you will manage our software engineering team and provide expert guidance supporting ongoing agile delivery by a diverse, distributed engineering organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of software engineers and DevOps engineers in designing, building, and maintaining our SaaS platform.

  • Provide leadership and support for all features and tools developed by the team, ensuring they meet operational standards and continuously enhance user satisfaction.

  • Work closely with cross-functional peers, the product team, and the quality team to plan and execute successful project deliveries.

  • Work closely with peers within the SDLC process to ensure the efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness of our processes.

  • Ensure that resource allocations are appropriate to strategic and team goals.

  • Regularly assess team performance, providing feedback and developmental opportunities to promote career growth and operational excellence.

We'd Like to See

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, including at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing engineering teams.

  • Exceptional problem-solving, technical, and analytical abilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing and inspiring a team to achieve high performance and innovation.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC best practices and methodologies.

  • Expertise in major programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and/or Javascript and Typescript.

  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP

  • Experience with networking, storage, logging, monitoring, tracing, and alert
