B2B & Reconciliation Analyst

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented B2B & Reconciliation Analyst to take ownership of resolving internal reconciliation discrepancies and ensuring proper administration of Procurement Cards (P-Cards). This role will play a critical part in fixing long-standing reconciliation issues, improving financial accuracy, and strengthening compliance. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, experienced in financial reconciliations, and skilled in managing P-Card programs.

B2B Reconciliation & Financial Operations:

  • Manage and resolve internal reconciliation discrepancies for B2B transactions, vendor payments, and corporate accounts.
  • Perform detailed financial reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and aligned with financial records.
  • Investigate and correct mismatches in invoices, payments, and general ledger accounts.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams to improve reconciliation workflows and ensure data accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and assist with audit preparation by maintaining proper documentation.

CAR System Handling & Card Payment Approvals:

  • Oversee CAR system handling, ensuring all transactions are properly coded and categorized.
  • Manage CAR Codification and CAR CMC processes, ensuring correct financial coding and compliance.
  • Card Payment Approvals, ensuring timely processing and proper financial controls related to payments.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure proper tracking, reporting, and approvals within the CAR and Card Payment Approvals systems.

P-Card Administration & Compliance:

  • Administer the issuance, monitoring, and cancellation of P-Cards for authorized employees.
  • Ensure P-Card transactions comply with company policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze P-Card spending trends and identify potential misuse or policy violations.
  • Support employees and managers with expense report submissions and approvals.
  • Assist in the automation and reporting of P-Card reconciliations to improve efficiency.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial reconciliation, accounting, or P-Card administration.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record of resolving complex internal reconciliation issues and implementing process improvements.
  • Understands and utilizes different analytical and investigative skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reconciliation tools (e.g., SAP, CAR, Excel), understand the data flow in CAR, and the interphases linked to them.
  • Experience managing P-Card programs, including issuing, monitoring, and compliance enforcement.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate across departments and drive reconciliation fixes.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving financial environment.
  • Experience in B2B financial operations, including vendor reconciliations and payment processing.
  • Portuguese (desirable).
  • Familiarity with automation tools and AI-driven reconciliation solutions.
  • Knowledge of financial compliance regulations and internal audit procedures.
