At Intrado, we’re passionate about our mission, our customers, and our team members, and seize the opportunity every day to make an impact through #workworthdoing.Intrado is looking to hire a Payroll Coordinator to join our team.The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves maintaining payroll records, handling employee inquiries, and assisting with payroll-related audits and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.Key Responsibilities:Payroll Processing:• Prepare and process payroll for US and Canada employees, including reviewing and verifying timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant documents• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions• Manage payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and benefit deductionsCompliance & Reporting:• Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations• Prepare and submit payroll tax reports, forms, and payments• Assist with internal and external payroll audits, providing necessary documentation and informationRecord Maintenance:• Maintain and update payroll records and databases• Ensure accurate and confidential handling of employee payroll recordsEmployee Support:• Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll issues• Provide information and guidance to employees on payroll policies and proceduresSystems & Process Improvement:• Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and softwareEducation:• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, business, or a related field• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred• Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirementsExperience:• 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or a related role• Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday) preferred• Understanding of payroll practices, tax regulations, and labor laws• Excellent organizational and time management skills• High level of accuracy and attention to detail• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentialityBenefits & Compensation:Want to love where you work?
