Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Contract Administrator to administer subcontracts and monitor performance in support of Federal government contracts.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Issue and administer subcontracts including reviewing all FAR provisions, SOW and Terms and Conditions, verifying rate/cost amounts, and reviewing required vendor forms and certifications.
  • Work with legal counsel and program management to negotiate subcontract agreements.
  • Issue amendments to subcontracts.
  • Issue task orders and their subsequent modifications.
  • Coordinate subcontract funding with Program Manager and advise of any potential cost overruns.
  • Ensure that subcontractor invoices comply with subcontract terms.
  • Upload fully executed subcontract into Abacus SharePoint Enterprise Contract Tracker (ASPECT).
  • Enter/maintain subcontract agreements in Jamis PRIME.
  • Perform subcontract closeout activities.
  • Maintain subcontract files and ensure compliance with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements and Abacus Procurement manual.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in subcontract administration.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Extensive knowledge of Federal government contract procurements.  Experience with various types of contracts, including FFP, FFPLOE, CPFF, T&M, GSA Schedules, GWAC’s and IDIQ vehicles.  Knowledge of the FAR.  Strong organization, written and oral communications skills.  Experience with MS Office.  Must be a US citizen.
