Opportunity at a Glance
Reporting to the Manager, Learning and Development, the Senior Training Specialist will be focused primarily on implementation and facilitation of trainings within a Learning and Development function that supports over 450 stakeholders within the Enrollment and Student Success teams. This individual will also plan and facilitate multiple colleague onboarding programs, and other trainings as needed. This individual possesses a strong, consultation skillset to effectively partner with stakeholders across the business, delivering on the needs to support major initiative launches.
Sr. Training Specialist will support the project workflow and business needs for the Walden University Learning, Development, and Enablement function focused primarily on product knowledge, process, skills and technical training. This individual will play a key role in partnering with stakeholders in areas such as assessing needs, recommending modalities for training delivery, establishing timelines, creating (in partnership with the Instructional Designer) resources and media, and coordinating and delivering instruction. They will also partner and guide other team members to ensure consistency within the team. The Sr Training Specialist role functions as a role model for our TEACH values.
Responsibilities
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53,520 and $93,918. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
