Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Civil/Site Engineer for the aviation group to be based in Philadelphia, PA.

 

This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.

 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Build analytic and design skills.
  • Work centers around design and construction of airside civil projects including runway, taxiway, apron, and site designs under the supervision of an experienced engineer. This includes pavement design and analysis, earthwork analysis, grading and drainage design, erosion and sediment control measures, utility coordination, cost estimating, preparing quantities, producing plans and technical specifications, and construction administration services.
  • Use computer software as a tool including AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with civil/site design on airfields.
  • Aviation experience is a plus.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • FE/EIT preferred.

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Philadelphia, PA. The selected candidate must be available to work in Philadelphia, PA on a scheduled basis.
