Job Description

We offer a contract of employment, tax-deductible cost and a hybrid work model (3 days a week in the office).

Additionally, depending on your annual assessment and the company's results:

Annual bonus up to 20% of the annual salary gross

By creating and maintaining a modern IT network infrastructure that spans trust and security, communications, and automation, we empower our teams and customers to deliver exceptional service.

As a manager in the Pluton team, you'll steer the ship of our WAF & reverse-proxy advancements. We develop and maintain key tools within anti-bot protection and HTTP acceleration, enabling our customers and merchants to seamlessly access Allegro.Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Web Application Firewall solution, as well as managing the lifecycle of reverse proxy layers based on both Varnish Cache and Nginx. We are looking for people who:

  • Can and want to take care and responsibility for their team’s development, have excellent communication skills, and value the "servant leadership" approach

  • Have experience in leading teams working with the use of ‘agile’ methodologies

  • Have the ability to manage and build relationships in a team of skilled engineers

  • Have good prioritization skills, are familiar and not afraid with making difficult decisions in the name of product and company

  • Can listen, motivate and provide constructive feedback as well as select adequate development activities for their team

  • Are experts in software development, operational excellence and modern system architecture

  • Are fluent in Go/Python technologies and want to learn new ones 

  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure teams to align on services they run (e.g., Consul, Service Mesh, Varnish, databases

  • Value engineering best practices: advocate for clean code, code review, TDD, and CI/CD to ensure the quality and maintainability

  • Can look for effective solutions to the requirements of our users

  • Are able to work closely with the business (can reconcile technical and business issues) 

  • Can present the necessary technical work in the context of business risks

  • Expect work that has a deeper meaning (not only the "management has commissioned") and wants to enjoy its results

  • Want to be proud of the code they create. They eagerly accept comments and share knowledge during code reviews

  • Enjoy constant developing and updating their knowledge

  • Know English languages on at least B2 level
