Geriatric Physician

As a Geriatric Physician at Amedisys, your primary responsibilities will encompass providing comprehensive palliative care, consulting on patients' pain and symptom management, and collaborating closely with their attending physicians. To be eligible for the Geriatric Physician position at Amedisys, candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from an accredited institution and have a valid, unencumbered medical license specific to Maine. While board certification in hospice and palliative care is preferred, experienced physicians dedicated to hospice care are encouraged to apply. Additionally, current CPR certification and reliable transportation for home visits are requirements.
